It's Bloomin' Tuesday!

Welcome!
I'm sorry to say that after 6 years, this will be my last Bloomin' Tuesday.  It has become a chore instead of a joy lately.  I'm not able to spend much time in my gardens because of the unbearable heat we are experiencing.  I'm also discouraged because living in the city, I never expected to deal with deer eating all my day lily buds.  I feel this meme is no longer what it was intended to be, just everyday gardeners showing their blooms, not bloggers joining several memes to get more readers.

Thanks to all that have participated over the years!  It's been fun!
You know the drill!

Jean, I'm sorry to hear you won't be continuing on, but I completely understand as I've had little time to blog myself these days. I've really enjoyed getting to know you the past few years and have enjoyed taking part in your Bloomin' Tuesday link ups (and getting to see your beautiful garden of course)! Thank you and I wish all the best.

Jean, so sorry to hear that this is the last Bloomin' Tuesday, but I totally understand for all those reasons you mentioned. I've enjoyed your flowers and getting to meet other gardeners across the country each week. Many thanks for all your work!

Oh no, say it isn't so! I'm sorry to hear that we will no longer be able to share our gardens here. I would like to start a similar link-up and if I do, please join me. I hope you will continue to blog so that we can see your wonderful blooms. Continued blessings...

So discouraging when the wildlife eats our expectations! Your garden looks great anyway. Don't worry about dropping out of the weekly flower post - I've never done the weekly or monthly ones because it felt too chore-like to me too. I'm a lazy gardener!

Jean, thank you for hosting Bloomin Tuesdays. I haven't been sharing that long as I just found you a short time ago, but I've enjoyed visiting your garden through your photos and will contiur to do so, I hope. This week I particularly like your galvanized tub planter. All the best. Lynne

Jean,

Sorry to hear that you won't be continuing, but I understand. It is so nice to see what people have in their gardens. Thank you so much for hostessing this long.

Hi Jean,

It has been great viewing all the different gardens and landscape designs. When it becomes no longer fun it is time to move on. Thank you for being a wonderful hostess.

Thanks, Jean, for hosting Bloomin' Tuesday. I have enjoyed participating. When a hobby gets so it's not fun anymore, it's time to stop. Hope you will continue to blog and show photos of your lovely garden.
Blessings, Beth

awww...I've just found this meme and now it's going away? Well, I too understand but I'm still sorry to see it go. It has been a very discouraging garden season here too - much, much too hot. There will be other years, other seasons - I hope we'll hear more from you soon.
